Business Minded

Since social networking has started, it has grown into a popular communication tool for people all over the world to use for personal connections as well as business relations. Business owners can use social networking tools in many different ways to help grow their business awareness to their right markets. Every business targets a particular market, whether it be directed towards females, males, adults, children, etc. and by using social media, a company can push campaigns, posts, blogs or even opinions to certain groups of people. That will allow them to help engage further reactions from that particular market. Getting people to interact with one's business and targets leads, can ultimately bring more business to one's company. In the end, every business has the same goal, which is to bring in customers to generate a profit. Social media websites can help bring customers to a particular business by the "word of mouth" capability social networking tools provide.

Will the amount of time I put into social networking produce more clientele?

By using social networking you are allowing your company to broaden their horizon, by extending your services to a larger group of people. It has become a fact that you can reach more people through the Internet in one day then you can through face-to-face interactions. The more people that know about your company the more clientele you will bring in. Since the Internet is widely used by such a large majority of the population, it would only make sense for you to show your Internet presence and connect with customers in their own territory. Being relational, personable and intentional will help bring authenticity to your company even though it may be via the Internet.

Will it connect my company to a broader span of businesses and individuals than the traditional forms of marketing?

While traditional forms of marketing should not be completely pushed to the wayside, our world is simply producing different forms of marketing. As stated previously, the Internet and social networking sites in particular are allowing larger and more diverse groups to be reached. While direct mail appeals and billboard signs may catch the eye of a few people, you would most likely not see the instantaneous responses that you would through the Internet.

Can it help drive more people to our website?

“Existing” on a social networking site isn't necessarily to chat about the latest movies or the hot gossip headlines. Social networking improves your search engine optimization (SEO). That means, if you are the owner of a jewelry company and someone searches, for example, rings, your websites is the first to appear in the list of Google options. The way social networking has been set up, more recently, provides you with the capability to make each social networking site into its own mini website directing back to your main websites homepage. You can and should post small buttons, such as THESE, to your website which will hopefully generate an integration of what your company specializes in and connecting to real customers who keep your business running.
